Bidra med feedbackMac's Pub is a charming café, restaurant, and bar that instantly made us feel welcome with a cozy fire crackling when we arrived. The staff greeted us warmly, setting a friendly tone for the evening. Three out of our group of four chose the soup of the day, which was a delightful vegetarian option. It was healthy, light, and served piping hot. Accompanying the soup was some delicious homemade bread that complemented the dish perfectly. One of my friends ordered a Guinness but preferred it a bit sweeter, so the staff added black currant to balance the dryness, which was a nice touch. I opted for the beef casserole, and it was fantastic! Although it deviated slightly from my expectations of a traditional casserole, it was more like a hearty stew filled with tender pieces of beef, potatoes tucked away, and a rich mushroom sauce. I highly recommend trying it! Overall, Mac's Pub is a great dining spot that I would definitely visit again.

The service was outstanding, with two or three servers efficiently managing a 10-table pub at Bunratty Folk Park, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. They offer a wide selection of draft beers, and the menu is relatively small. Please note that they stop serving food at 3:00 P.M. (at least on the day I visited). While the fish and chips weren't fantastic, the nostalgic atmosphere and attentive service made up for it. The beer was excellent as well.
