New Town Buffet - Burbank

We had heard really good dinge about new town, but yelp reviews were mixed. I'll say that eating was good, it was just not very hot. at the Dessert bar they had real ice, that was a nice change from the greed that comes from a machine.

Haven’t been here in years, they closed for 18 months during the worst of Covid and recently just reopened.The food selection was great, their ice cream has to be scooped out instead of the usual soft served. Food is generally good but I have to mention their fried chicken…it looked big but when I bit into it, the breaded part (flour) was 50% of the thickness and the chicken itself look unappetizingService was friendly and professional.Process is a little different here, you pay the cashier when you come in, the waiter will tape your receipt to your table, then you go get your food, they have signs to warn you against wasting food (they will charge you extra)They also charge you 10% service fee for group of 2 or more.

The food is not good. Me and my family were very disappointed when we tried the food. The price was really high.The staff is very nice. They would check up on us and take our plates. They would also give us napkins and forks.

They got no more crab legs and cost too much, place is mid now. Used to be good few years back smh Reason is not a 1 star is because they refunded us half of our money.

Delicious food fresh and excellent service for the past 8 year my family and me we really enjoy this buffet, very clean and safety
