The Beautiful Downtown Burbank Tavern

Legend has it that for hundreds of years, the beer, food, and camaraderie at the B.B.T. have been putting smiles on faces, and that remains true to this day. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dish: Hamburger.

This classic tavern really gives you a nostalgic feel. The staff was friendly, and the locals were welcoming as well. We ordered some hamburgers to take back to our campsite at Charbonneau Park, and everyone enjoyed the food. We even had a beer while we waited. I would definitely return when I'm in the area. We went to beautiful downtown Burbank to visit our son and daughter-in-law at their new address. They offered to take us out to lunch at the Beautiful Burbank Tavern! We were introduced to Alex(the owner? We were seated at a buddy bar with an up close view of a huge flat screen TV. The tavern is rustic but clean with, what appears to be, a very good kitchen. The food was excellent and the staff is pleasant and efficient. Beer/wine is ice cold and they brewed a fresh pot of coffee. Pull tabs available for gamblers as well as an ATM for less than effective gamblers, LOL! All in all, we enjoyed our visit and lunch in the only place we 're aware of in Burbank! Check 'em out y 'all, don 't think y 'all will be disappointed. Giddy up.

I went there because, well, it's in the name. But it was a clean cool little place.
