Bidra med feedbackSo good! I had a pasta salad and two mushroom and cashew cheese empanadas and LOVED every bite
Wife and I just ate here for the first time and it was amazing. We got one of each vegan empanadas (3 savory/1 sweet) and loved them all. Our only problem was having to resist getting more. Definitely a great option in the area and we are excited to come back soon!
Ohmigolly their vegan food here is sooo delicious! I 've visited several times to date, but here 's why I don 't go there more often: sloooooow service, and I don 't know why! Each time, I 've had to wait at least 10 minutes to get my food after placing my order and paying. Yes, they do get busy, which is a good sign, they are popular because their food is so good! They have a lighted, heated display cabinet right in front of the register and the various choices are all labeled. After you pay, why can 't they just scoop up your choices and hand them to you? Instead, you have to wait and wait and wait, and the one employee out of 5 or 6 that work there who actually grabs your order, seems preoccupied each visit with things not directly connected with bagging your goodies! so when I 'm in a hurry, I don 't visit. My other concern is my personal aversion to non-organic wheat, and their empanadas, which are a deep-fried wheat pastry filled with delightfully spiced fillings, are heavy on the wheat. It 's been revealed that USA wheat farmers have been SOAKING non-organic wheat crops with Monsanto 's Glyphosate just a day or two before harvest because it slightly increases yield and improves harvesting and that this is the actual cause of all the gluten-intolerance cases that we 're hearing about so much nowadays. Folks, it 's not the gluten that is causing the sour effects you 're feeling, it 's the glyphosate Round-Up which has been proven to kill off your stomach 's digestive bacteria and thus also destroys 70% of your immune system. Yes, I LOVE the taste of the empanadas at World Empanadas, but the wheat really concerns me. Combined with the slow service, and difficult parking street only I limit my visits. Another concern is that I can eat 4 to 6 empanadas in a single meal. At $2.95 each, they seem very reasonably priced. But when you add it up by eating 6 of them, that 's more than $18 with tax and for what amounts to fast food, that 's an awfully pricey lunch.
Got three of their vegan empanadas: soy chorizo, mushroom cashew cheese, and mixed berry. All were absolutely amazing. I’ll definitely use them for catering parties.
A few vegan options. They have an app. Order in advance or you’ll have to wait. Sidewalk seating.
