Yum Yum Donuts - Burbank

If you have some time to spare, this is a lovely spot to visit. They prepare one order at a time. I began going there frequently, and at 6 AM, they rarely had a cinnamon roll available for me. Additionally, they only offer one flavor of coffee creamer: French vanilla. No hazelnut, ever.

The first thing that caught my attention was a man in the back preparing donuts without wearing a mask or gloves, using his bare hands to apply the icing. Then, when I ordered a combo, I requested to substitute the coffee, but instead of informing me there would be an extra charge, he simply charged me full price for both the coffee and the combo. This completely negated the benefit of ordering the combo in the first place. Lastly, I didn’t receive the warm customer service that Hispanic customers seemed to enjoy, likely because I’m not Hispanic and I don’t speak Spanish.

This is a classic donut shop. They've expanded their menu to include specialty sandwiches, which is a nice addition. However, it can be frustrating because there's often only one person working behind the counter. This means that if someone orders food before you, you might have to wait a bit longer for your own order.

I arrived later than expected, so the donuts weren't as soft and delicious as I had hoped.

Nice to know there are still donut shops out there where you can order a (baker's) dozen and not break the bank! This was a midnight snack run and the donuts were still fresh. Friendly, speedy service too.
