Bidra med feedbackI really, really love their Gyros. Im from NY and miss the Gyros from actual Greek; this comes close. It's a nice low key spot with fresh food. And the owner is very handsome with a grey streak in his beard, so that helps!
ABs was an excellent restaurant, but unfortunately, they are no longer operating at their previous location. I believe they are still in business; after suffering damage from Hurricane Florence, they relocated to their gas station venue off Hwy 421, a few miles past the intersection with Hwy 53 on the left. During their time in Burgaw, their Buffalo Chicken Calzone was easily one of my all-time favorite dishes. Not only was it the best in the area, but it also ranks among my top 10 favorite meals I've ever had anywhere. Considering the affordable prices, if I factored in value, that dish would probably land in the top 3. I'm not sure if they are still serving Italian dishes at their Hwy 421 location, but I do know my mother visited and had a burger. Their burgers are also outstanding and reasonably priced, so I would have no hesitation to eat there if I were in the neighborhood. The owner and staff are incredibly kind, and I honestly believe that losing their restaurant in Burgaw will influence our decision to move away when we might have otherwise stayed. It’s truly sad.
The food is outstanding and reasonably priced. My personal favorite is the cheeseburger, which is just $5 and features a large, handmade, juicy patty! It's a fantastic family-friendly restaurant with options for everyone.
My favorite Italian restaurant! I can't resist ordering the Stromboli—it’s simply too delicious to give up.
Love this place!! I had lasagna and it was very good!
