Bandanas American Grill - Burgaw

I grew up with a fishing rod in one hand and a flounder gig in the other. At 59 years old, I was raised in coastal North Carolina, where I spent years working on shrimp boats in the lower Cape Fear. I can instantly recognize fresh fish, shrimp, and oysters. Bandana's has consistently prepared my seafood to the highest standards. The sweet tea is excellent, the coleslaw is fresh, and the service is top-notch. I’d give them six stars if I could!

I'm not a local to the Burgaw area, but I have to say that the Fried Oyster Platter is one of the best I've ever tasted. The balance between the batter and the oysters is spot on—you won't have to hunt for the oysters at all. As someone in the military who has traveled a lot, and being originally from Florida, I can be quite discerning. I've heard the desserts are fantastic as well, but I was too full to try any. Definitely a place you should check out!
