Gabriel Daniel's Mexican Grill

I usually don't expect much of any Mexican cuisine except this little restaurant is a jewel! Not only the Chef/Owner, Gabriel, talented in the kitchen, he enchanted us with such beautiful and unique presentations of our dishes. And the food! We had no idea that such dishes could be created with Mexican food. But after talking to Gabriel, who is from Mexico City, he loves preparing regional dishes from Mexico with authentic recipes. So we tried his ?Pimienta?. From the first bite my husband and I looked in unbelief that every Mexican food could taste amazing; from the quality of ingredients, over the spices to the presentation- that is an artwork in his own, we knew that we found a tiny diamond in Burlingame!!! How can this place not be a 5 Michelin Star review is about us. Weren't you here yet? This food is prepared, cooked, and packaged with love. Fresh, seasoned well, and so good. Yum Yum Yum, I agree with a 5-star rating. Also, the customer service and friendly environment were so refreshing.

You have got to be kidding me. Just landed from Florida and decided we wanted some Mexican food. Less then a mile away Google said, which led us to the Burlingame soccer/golf center. What a weird setup I though until our order was ready. My wife ordered the fish tacos and although she isn?t a fan of tilapia, said these tacos were the best fish tacos she?s had in a longtime. I ordered a fish burrito and wow, I was highly impressed. Not only does his artistry come out in the presentation of his dishes, but the food and sauces were so flavorful and rich. This is truly one of those hidden gems you won?t believe until your order is right in front of you. Not sure how long they can remain hidden for.

This place is kinda hole in the wall. We stay close by, stumbled upon it online randomly. Food is delicious and host is warm. The food presentation was beautiful. It?s right next soccer field so family friendly. We tried chicken burrito and quesadilla supreme. We will definitely visit again soon!

I was staying at a nearby hotel and decided to walk over. Entering, no big deal but immediately, was greeted very nicely by a young man behind the cashier. He was patient by explaining the menu with any questions, and took my order. I had 3 mini tostadas. As soon as my dish arrived my table, I was blown away by the presentation. So much time and detail?it was a big deal to me Bc I wasn?t expecting it. It wasn?t just how it looked?they tasted amazing! Packed with flavors; very savory. The red salsa served with the tortilla chips was very spicy, but the spicy that?s addicting. Delicious!
