Bidra med feedbackA nice fine dine Indian restaurant with good ambience and menu. Been here about 20 days ago for dinner and enjoyed the food. I had a reservation, but was told to wait for sometime as others were still dining on my table.. Wondered why make a reservation, but the wait was short so it kept my mood going and more crowd typically resembles a good eating place, so all good! Coming to the food, for appetisers we ordered the Bombay Sliders ..basically the Indian Vada Pav with a rich look and feel. It tasted different from what you may get in Mumbai but nevertheless it was wonderful to eat. Full marks for this. We also ordered the Mangalorean chicken (don't see it on their menu now, could be the curry leaf chicken) which was really good. For the main course we ordered the Malabar Shrimp Masala, Butter Chicken (these were served with amazing parathas), and the Rasa Chicken Biryani. All of these were heavenly. All of this with some good beer or wine! I couldn't eat more so skipped the dessert but going by the experience of food so far, they should be good too! On the pricing, its a fine dine so it is on the expensive side, buy i always measure the price with the quality and quantity, so it is value for money! In my opinion, a must try Indian place when you are in the area. Cheers!
Good south Indian food. Catered to a more traditional south eastern style of cooking in India. Vada pav though mid western is made very well here. A must try. Dosa is very good here
Everything was divine. We started with several appetizers and a couple of drinks, progressed to the lamb and fish curries, and finished with a delicious cardamom ice cream and puff pastries. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I am hesitant to suggest what to order because everything was really good, I’m pretty sure if on picks what they are interested in they will like it. But I didn’t take one picture for you.
Food was really great ..and so was the service. butter naan was below average ..aam sutra cocktail and rasa drinks were not at all good and had were very sweet. Rum old fashioned was good. Ambience was very very loud for the small space with the music and people clamoring .. we could enjoy the ambience after 8 15 pm. For the price and ambience, I would actually rate a 3.5 stars
Rasa offers great Indian food with some focus on South Indian cuisine. Very refined food and elegant looking plates. We ordered pepper fries for starters. It was South Indian Bhajji and North Indian chaat in one plate, tasted really good. The ginger cocktail is very refreshing. Genovese dosa is a great twist to traditional masala dosa, loved it. Pumpkin kofta and Kerala parotta is delicious. You must try Coconut Espuma in desert, which is mind blowing, that definitely is a Michelin star dessert. The service is good but is not at par with what we expect from a restaurant with so many credits. That’s the only thing that disappointed us. It was a special occasion that we went for, but it felt like a regular dinner place. At the same time we also understand the trouble they are facing with staffing and managing to keep the restaurant open for their customers during tough times. We were glad that we could dine at Rasa. The food here is definitely a must try.
