Lucky Duck Pub - Burlington

This place is one of my favorite places to eat, and one of my favorite small businesses in North KY. The drinks are all extremely cheap, and the food is quite a lot to die. Every time we come here, we are treated with kindness and excellent service. Pro Tip: Try the Cowbell season, it is from this world.

Menu has great food choices at reasonable prices. Food tasted great. Place was busy because it was trivia night (Tuesdays). This is free to play and a lot of fun. I went with a group of women on the recommendation of one that has been several times. It was a great night out. I look forward to going back and trying something new on their menu and playing trivia again.

Best fish in Boone County. Very big tasty! Husband loves it. I'm partial to their chicken waffler, Rueben's, chips just had amazing broccoli! Yum!

Better than average pub food, but nothing to flee. I got the Cod sandwich under advice from my server, it was gigantic as she said... but unfortunately tasteless. My mother got the cordon blue, she said it was a good chicken sandwich, but nothing like a cordon blue. Son got a southwest burger of style and said it was perfect spicy, tasted fine, but like the Patty wasn't really spiced like a real burger. The service was pretty good, got everything we ordered, plus a few extra details without asking twice. We received refills on time, and the check immediately paid a request and in good time. Prices were fair/good all things looked at. Noisy as expected for a pub and many people drink, but yes, it is a pub. I have to go with 3 stars just because my sandwich was tasteless. I'd rather have a little delicious fish sandwich than a giant double fillet that tastes like air. I don't know where all 5 star reviews come from others than I guess, Trunker? It is a basic pub with basic pub food, not a 5-star restaurant. People just seem to throw willy-nilly 5 stars on all these days.

This was our first time in Lucky Duck and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing and great portions. Geoff was very gracious and helpful. We're coming back!
