Baratxuri - Bury

Visited here today after seeing it busy many times and always wanting to try it . Ambience very good .Alambrha beer very nice . White sangria nowhere near as any I have had in Portugal. But the real reason for writing this is I have never left a restaurant where I have left after eating everythin offered and still feeling hungry. Well I have now . We ordered £30 of tapas which we thought would suffice for two but when I am having to cut a single pork belly chop into 2 at a cost of £10 you get the gist . I am not proud to say this but when we went to our local pub in Edgworth The Black Bull we had to order 2 small dishes of food as still hungry .I have never have had to do this in my life. I wouldn't say do not go but I was very disappointed and hungry

Lovely food and was served by a lovely waitress. We were sat towards the right of the restaurant and right next to the food pass. There was a young man working who seemed like he was still training, he was stood behind us for the whole time obviously listening to our conversation as every now and then he joined our conversation which we found quite rude and off putting. We was there for about an hour and 45 minutes and within that time he was probably stood behind our table for about an hour and 40 minutes of this not doing much. I appreciate he is probably new to the job however when we are having a nice meal and there’s a member of staff just staring at us and listening in to our conversations it’s not what you want. Overall, a nice experience.

I wish I could give this restaurant a great review, but unfortunately, 20 minutes before our reservation, we were informed that there were no tables available, despite booking weeks in advance! We do not live in Ramsbottom, so this was a special taxi journey for us, and we were not given any prior warning of the issue. I would advise diners to double-check before making the trip.

Located in central Manchester within Freight Island, this restaurant is a hidden gem within a buzzing building site. With a variety of food options and live music available on-site, it is a fantastic experience. There is also a great selection of free music and other dining options available, similar to Belin. Don't hesitate to visit this place!

Due to covid restrictions and restaurant closures, our son recommended that we order a party assembly take out from Baratxuri for Christmas Eve, it turned out to be a brilliant recommendation. We received a number of Spanish tapas dishes, which were were well packaged and came with very clear and simple instructions for each dish. The food was excellent, tasty and authentic. Although I have never eaten at this restaurant, as soon as the covid restrictions are lifted, I will certainly be paying it a visit!!
