Bidra med feedbackThe major has changed considerably with the new ownership. It is a male bastion and i as a woman I would feel very uncomfortable going in alone now, as I didn’t feel at all welcome. Pass it by there are plenty of decent places to drink in town.
One of the best pubs in Ramsbottom. Well worth a visit. Pool table, dart board and juke box, a great traditional pub. Great real ales too.
Tuesday 6th June 2023 This pub I visited the 3 hand pumped ales on offer were well kept but lacked the plink plink yes factor doom bar and Mitchell and Butlers big breweries and this was sad The pub had a great old interiors to it the local following was great as was bar staff tonight easy listening back ground music If beers would have been more interesting 5 stars would have been given DOOM BAR IS FOR DOOM MERCHANTS WHEN DRINKING EXCITING BEERS
Excellent little pub! Football, great beers, snacks galore, hot pasties fresh from the oven, dog friendly and cheerful staff. Well done
Not been to the major for a couple of years. New owners have given the uplift it needed
