Bidra med feedbackI ordered the vegetable fried rice and avocado kimbap at this restaurant. They were absolutely delicious! The fried rice had a variety of vegetables and a great wok flavor. The kimbap was so large that I couldn't finish it and had to take some home. The owner made sure I was vegetarian before preparing my meal. There were also other vegetarian options including vegetable kimbap, avocado kimbap, soy meat kimbap, tofu kimbap, vegetable fried rice, and soy meat fried rice. I may come back again in the future!
There are 3-4 vegan options available at this restaurant, each paired with a variety of sauces. I tried three different options and was pleasantly surprised. The avocado option was my favorite, and the wasabi sauce was also a standout. Perfect for enjoying at the beach or on the move.
I loved both the avocado and tofu vegan options at this restaurant. However, the rolls were so big that we were advised to use plastic gloves instead of chopsticks to eat them. Unfortunately, my roll fell apart easily. Personally, I prefer my kimbap to be smaller and tightly rolled.
Massive and delicious gimbaps. The owner was kind and it was very reasonably priced. I had the spicy tofu one and even if it was a bit of a struggle to eat because it was gigantic, I would 10/10 come back.
Tldr: Gigantic sized and tasty kimbaps, cheap and clean from neighbourhoid gem. Excellent kimbap place. It offers 3 vegan kimbaps to choose from. An avocado one, a spicy tofu one and one with bardock and sprouts. Run by a single woman with a tiny spot. They were all delicious, and I must state that they were really big. We ordered all three, and we could hardly finish 2, and had to pack some of the third one. I would say they are at least double the size of other kimbaps I tried, and it's a bit hard to take a whole piece in one bite, let alone grab them with chopsticks. Thankfully there are an abundance of plastic gloves to use to be able to eat with your hands. The owner was super friendly, and so were the other customers. Just a great neighborhood style hangout place, to enjoy homemade and delicious kimbap. Very clean too. The happy cow location is a bit off, you'll have to go to the other side of where the map shows. Just walk around the location, around the big building in the middle, until you find it. It's worth the search. This place would get 5 stars if I could, because while there were only 3 options in the menu, they were simply just divine. Updated from previous review on 2023-05-17
