The Butternut Cafe

Excellent food, excellent prices, attentive waitress. Kid-friendliness: No kids menu but we happily had ours split a chicken strip basket which was plenty for them.

Touted as The food IS OK ...that rings true for this Naval Aviator--all our carrier landings/(attempts at such), we 're graded- the highest grade was logged as OK by the LSO. My take is that any Naval Aviator worth his salt, would find this place OK in all respects.

Butternut Cafe is always our go to spot on a Saturday AM. We’ve been there on countless occasions at this point and everything we have had has always hit the mark. The skillets are great, the burgers are awesome and the country fried steak is probably my favorite thing on the entire menu. The staff is always so friendly, even when busy and as someone in the service industry that always go a long ways with me. We will always support this establishment and will definitely see them again soon!

Had a simple breakfast made right. So hard to find.

Great food and friendly service. Blueberry lemon poppyseed pancakes today were delicious!
