Buxton General Store

My mates ordered the chicken fillet burger and i ordered the hamburger with the lot. Fantastic burger dripping with juices, bulging with fillings and sauce and a crispy topped bun forget Mc Donalds this is the real deal

This quaint little country store has a limited selection of food options. When we arrived for a late lunch, our only choice was hot pies. They offer outdoor seating along the roadside.

While it may not be considered gourmet dining, this restaurant in Buxton is a great option for a quick lunch. When we saw a tourist bus parked outside the burger store, we knew it was the perfect choice for us. The menu is somewhat limited, but the dim sims were quite delicious and the Mac's pies in the warmer were also tasty.

The store closed some months ago and presently for sale so it is no longer an option in Buxton. Try the Pub across the Road or the Igloo a few hundred metres up the road.

For years I've been dropping into this place and it just never changes. Which sounds good in some ways but in others, it's not. Don't get me wrong. This place has alot of character and you can get pretty much anything here but it's tired...More
