This was a scheduled pit stop on our way to NB from Quebec City but we wish we had stayed longer! Because we were traveling on a Thursday we couldn’t partake in the gastronomic meal (served on weekends). However we had the option to order a meal served to our room for $30/person. We were pleasantly surprised to get a 3 course meal prepared by the chef, Baptist! He used local ingredients and his wife Marine served us in the comfort of our room. We were traveling on a stormy winter day so we had the entire auberge to ourselves. Other treats were the use of the hot tub and a delicious full breakfast in the morning.
