Cafe Byblos on Aplin - CAIRNS CITY

Was greeted by a spacious timber-chaired dining area with a variety of instrumental music from jazz to hip hop playing unobtrusively in the background. Enjoyed Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise sauce: nicely presented with an orange twist. The freshly made carrot juice was really refreshing. I would have also liked the option of a hint of ginger or mint in it. Cost was $17 which is good value for good quality ingredients. Staff were welcoming. Courtyard outside looked inviting but preferred inside because it felt cooler. Toilets clean although the ladies's door was fairly firm to reopen.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Was very disappointed by the sandwich I received, which was called the Beirut sandwich. The description sounded great, but the product was terrible. I threw half of it away.

Lovely staff and best breakfast ever. We just wish we had discovered it earlier on our holiday but will return before we leave to go home. Thank you
