Domaine Orsini - Calenzana

I was there for a concert. It was an interesting experience, everything was very well organized, free meals and drinks. The view from the vineyard is breathtaking.

At the entrance, visitors are immediately handed over a number of brochures with product lists and invited to take a place for tasting. No explanation about the domain, it's history, it's people. Not before, during or after tasting. It is a product-based business model. We... have the purchase of a bottle of wine and a few glasses of their products, but the experience felt transaction and not unforgettable at all. On a positive note, the views are indeed very nice.

Having crossed orsini products throughout our Corsica journey, we wanted to know more when we stayed near calvi. Upon arrival, we are offered a tasting in the cellar of the house and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the house and the reception of the staff. Of course, we are not duped, the idea being to make the products taste better to sell but we also found our account and this tasting allowed us to make a selection before buying.
