Bidra med feedbackSorry, it doesn't compare to 5 guys burgers and fries. Hamburgers aren't good and neither are the poutine. I took 1 bite and threw my food out. Won't be back again
Ordered the cheddar jalapeno fries.... was not impressed very bland and soggy, burger wasn't much to speak of either ended up throwing most of it away.... don't eat here! Would prefer Wendy's or McDonald's
Decided to try the burger here again as I haven't had one in a while. Good value and all burgers can be customized which I did after ordering the bacon cheese single. Nice to have real lettuce leaf but the burger is cooked through and therefor a bit dry despite all the condiments. The fries are also ok but for the most part the meal was middle of the road. Nothing offensive but then again not much to bring me back. Next time I would get the teriyaki burger as this is one of the few places it is offered.
Used coupon. Ordered two Chipotle double burgers, one single mushroom and swiss, one double truffle, large order of fries and a poutine. Burgers were fresh, tasted good. Poutine and fries as expected. Detractor from burgers was the lack of onions. Really skimped on amount. May have been better not to have had any at all. Disappointed with this condiment.
I was on the road and decided to stop at the new Boardwalk on Elbow Drive at Southland. It is between Starbucks and 7-11 in a relatively new little plaza. It has a small parking lot and some spots that aren't reserved for the other vendors. After passing by the empty lot for Boardwalk in Acadia many times and reading bad reviews for that location, I chose to only try a few items. I walked in at 12:30pm on a Monday and saw about 4-5 tables with patrons. The cashier was at the far end. I ordered a chocolate milkshake and medium french fries, which came to $10.26. I was given a pager although there was really nowhere for me to go so I stood by the straws and napkins in the narrow corridor. The shake was up first. Good consistency and flavour but not very large and not what I would call special. I waited about 5 minutes for the fries even though they weren't busy and no one else had come in. I saw a man in the kitchen finish preparing them so I went to the counter as he put them up. He also put up a tray for someone else. Instead of grabbing my bag and handing it to me as the cashier went by with the tray, she made me wait for her to come back and retrieve it. An extra minute doesn't seem like a lot unless there are hot fries in a bag.I took some small ketchup packets and headed to my car. The ketchup was annoying since I needed at least 3 of them to get started. Didn't matter, the fries were under cooked, limp, and unseasoned or grossly under seasoned. They tasted like greasy, bland potatoes and not worth the time or money to purchase them. I threw them in the garbage and drank my shake. Would I go back to try a burger? Um, no. Reviews don't lie and if you can't make decent fries, there is no reason to return for a burger (and fries). If you are going to charge gourmet or diner prices for your food, then it has to be good. I feel badly for the franchise owners. The food is not delicious and the franchise costs are huge. I looked it up. This kind of situation rubs me the wrong way. They don't stand a chance of they keep serving this food. I want local businesses to thrive but I can't get behind this one.
