Caffe Trieste - Calgary

I was in town when The Core reappeared, and I needed a shopping trip. Cody is a great host and served me delicious salad, wine and cappuccino. Excellent experience!

We brought some friends from the city to this small town restaurant located in the Core Shopping Centre Downtown. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the subpar service and food quality. The prices were high considering what was offered and the staff was unfriendly. It took a long time to receive a basic panini, which was lacking in ham. The only positive aspect was the quality of the coffee.

We really enjoyed the latte we got from this coffee shop. The entrance only leads to the coffee bar, but once inside, the place opens up to a well-decorated room with lots of seating. The drinks were prepared promptly and tasted great. A tip: try getting your drink in a ceramic cup, as it really enhances the flavor compared to a paper cup.

Some places to get coffee in the Core Mall, but we found these at level three to be very good. It did not try the cakes /flege, but they looked excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff.
