Cuisine Cinnamon - Calgary

We arrived just in time before the restaurant was about to close after picking up my husband from the airport. We were just looking to grab some dessert. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted.

I concur with the other reviewers! The restaurant has a charming atmosphere with lovely decorations, and the server was extremely attentive and well-informed.

The chef is incredibly passionate and creative. Our experience at the restaurant was excellent - everything we tried was delicious. The flavors in all of our dishes were both unique and tasty.

I have never has Sri Lankan food prior to visiting Cuisine Cinnamon. I am now a big fan. The kottu is delicious. And the prices are very reasonable. Our host also took time to explain our various options, suggested how we might modify based on our preferences. They have vegetarian options, gluten free options, and a kid's menu. We all left very happy.

Start your meal with the chicken rolls, so tasty, house wine goes well with it too!!!The presentation, the flavors and lots of fresh curry leaves. So many different spices, what a treat, but save room for dessert, as they have a pasty chef!!! The desserts are comfort food to the max!!! Enjoy as we will be going again.
