Original Joe's - 4th Street - Calgary

Average burgers and marginal seafood fare that doesn't merit returning. How is it that so many restaurants at this level just don't get it right, but otherwise do a decent job unless the cook in the kitchen messes up. Much the same as Moxie's, Earl's and others of their ilk. Nothing great, nothing bad (except a burger once at Earl's).

My burger smelled like fish. Not the place to go for a clean meal. Really nice wait staff, though. Get a new cook.

This has become a regular favorite of mine, the food is consistent and well presented. The staff are friendly, always remember you and are more than knowledgable about the menu, both food and drink.

Dropped in for lunch before flying home and had some really good food. I had a hot dog and my girlfriend had a burger - both great and looking around other people's meals look v. tasty too. Tip - make sure you get gravy with your chips!
