Sakana Grill - Calgary

Delicious and creative sushi. The quality is top-notch. Don't miss out on the mango sushi. The frozen grapes served at the conclusion of the meal were a delightful addition.

I visited this restaurant for their Happy Hour special that starts at 9pm.

I visited Downtown Sakana and found it to be less crowded than the location in the NW. Although they offer the same menu, the service wasn't as good as I had experienced at the other location.

We went for Mother's Day on Saturday night and ordered appies, wine and filet with shrimp. The food was good, however the service was really bad. Our waitress forgot our rice and did not check with us once on how the food was. Other staff served us and they were great. Then we got the bill and she tried to rip us off for $22.50! Instead of the 3 filet and shrimp for $29, she tried to charge us for 3 new Yorkers @ $29 and 3 shrimp for $22.50 She came to us 3 times telling us we were wrong until we finally looked at the menu and the prices and she corrected the bill. 3 times! I left stressed when I should have left happy.

Just visited this restaurant. Nice sushi, nice tatami and Japanese theme restaurant. Our server name was grace? She was nice also
