Bidra med feedbackWe were in the saccharum and this restaurant along with calhao were the best from few places where they could eat, as there are very few possibilities in the opposite. eating is good, but easy. the service is not amazing, no one. informs them how they sit and they will sit for at least 5 to 10 minutes before they get a service. masks are required in the restaurant that I would not have as there are no signs. I was boiled twice when I came across from the neighboring sunbeds and tried to order with a short Gentleman server that refused to speak to me until I came back and got mine. I wouldn't order anything special, a simple burger and chips and you can't go wrong. I had a bark steak and it was very thin and tasteless. I was on vacation, so I ordered cocktails galore, which were made very bitter and tart. each request to make cocktails a little sweeter was met with a fee of 2 euro, although this is a standard self-worthiness in Britain. a good restaurant for what is available.
The pizza is amazing and I was obsessed. service was so delightful that we went back every day. the seafood and fish plate were from this world delicious. everything was great
The service was good, but the lambs were poor. I have left most of them, but that has not been really recognized and fixed. alambique top is so much more beautiful and a similar price
We had a very good lunch in the trapiche restaurant of the saccharum hotel in calheta. the poolbar is always a good tip to have a relaxed and good lunch. we had a cesars salad and a fish and a bottle of rosé wine. two things we do not expect from a very good and renowned hotel. the saccharum belongs to the Savoy Group. the wine glasses are plastic, which we can accept with much good will, because it is a poolable and the people without shoes run around. but it should not be the standard. what I could not accept at all was dessert, we ordered two pots of ice and they came in a paper cup on a plate. I'm sorry, but I get those tassen in every gelateria for half price. it does not correspond to the expectations we have from such a hotel. in booking.com it is a 5 star hotel. that doesn't fit. the female waiter we told that it was very nice and said that this is not very good and she will talk to her manager. we also told a male waiter before and he was not very interested. not everyone who has lunch is a tourist. some people like us live on the island and can tell their visitors about the Trapiche experience.
It is a lust to watch the sunset and sip on a drink being served by friendly Roberto. The place on top of the Savoy hotel is my favorite place for an apero at six. Take your camera too as everybody does to click the...beauty of the swim pool lights when it's dark.
