George's Market has been around for as long as I can remember, and it continues to maintain its high quality. The sandwiches may be a bit smaller than before, but they are still incredibly delicious.
Move aside, I'm all about the pretzels! These are the BEST homemade pretzels I’ve ever had! If I had known how amazing they were, I would have bought some extra at our last stop. Unfortunately, I missed that opportunity...
Easy to order, great prices, friendly services, and a variety of amazing German food to choose! Recommend this place to stop for a place and take s bite to eat.
George's Market is one of my favorite spots in the world to grab a sandwich or a hot plate paired with a beer. It feels just like a quaint family-run market in Munich. They always have excellent German beer on tap and a wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff, led by Sonia, who just became a U.S. citizen a few weeks ago. The market offers unique items from Germany and Europe that you won't find everywhere else. Their selection of meats and cheeses is top-notch, and they boast 63 different types of beer in the cold case along the back wall. Even though he’s technically "retired," you can often find George behind the meat counter ready to help. The ladies working there are not only friendly but also lovely. If you're looking for a mini getaway without the expense of a plane ticket, George's is the perfect destination.
