Bidra med feedbackWe stopped in while vacationing as our hotel has recommended visiting Callicoon and this restaurant. I concur with his recommendations. We had a great visit to the town and really enjoyed our breakfast. I had a scone with coffee and wife had quiche and decaf expresso Americana (basically express with water over ice). Only request would be to have regular decaf coffee. Be aware this place is popular. There were maybe 12 people in line at one point. The line moved quickly but this isn't a quickie breakfast stop which wasn't what were were looking for anyway. Recommend both Callicoon and Cafe Adella Dori.
My favorite place to eat in Callicoon! I’m in love with Eva and all of the lovely people that work there. Soups are top notch, empanadas are delicious, house made kimchi and kombucha is amazing. The food is mostly organic and local, the internet is super fast, the coffee is the best in town, and the atmosphere is wonderful! Thank you, Cafe Adella Dori for being such a gift to Callicoon! <3
The coffee was good, prices are approximately Queens prices (found it pricey for upstate). Rosemary shortbread, bacon egg cheese were delicious. Seating out back on the deck, clean bathroom, nice layout. Wi-fi is not reliable and you can only connect for an hour at a time... if it doesn't kick you off earlier because the cafe is crowded. No cell service with AT T and only one bar with Verizon. I would suggest they provide more reliable internet.
Great options for sweet and savory treats. Coffee and espresso drinks are on point. Staff is very friendly and inviting. You won't find a better coffee shop in the area.
The breakfast sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the bread was toasted to golden perfection. And the cheese! It was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to go back tomorrow for another one. When I returned today, I brought my wife along, and we were not disappointed. Consistency is another big plus. Now I’m left wondering how I’ll manage without this sandwich, as I’m heading back to Westchester today. Until next year!
