Bidra med feedbackFried fish sandwich was lacking in taste, hamachi crudo was underwhelming. Cocktail menu was great. Fries and lobster rolls were very good. Will be back, but not for fried fish sandwich.
Salt Line is always fun. However, the hostess was incredibly rude when we came in (pink dress, green eyeshadow). We had an indoor reservation and asked if we could be seated outside instead. She said no (understandable) but acted like my mom was a complete idiot when she asked if we could wait and see if someone didn't show up for an outside reservation. It was one of the more unpleasant experiences I've had with a hostess. The food is very good, if a bit overpriced. The service is very slow (it took a long time for someone to come take our order). Overall, a fun spot for drinks but the service is lacking.
The fried fish blue catfish they said it was after arriving at the table and it was too thick, so it was soft in all the wrong places but seasoned well. The smash burger....oh dear hearts... I 'm a southern gentleman who was raised in well seasoned proteins and all my two .03 Oz patties received was a meat weight on top of it and heat on the bottom. Even the toppings had had enough and just sat on top of the patties looking unimpressed, disengaged, and disenchanted on being a part of Mother 's Day dinner. The water with no ice was insane to me. Again, I 'm a southern gentleman, and ice-cold beverages were a standard and staple. Who researched what that resulted in room temperature water with no ice? I enjoyed the 1st time experience with family, but I wouldn 't return or recommend this establishment due to the establishments failure to meet my standards.
Menu was limited to greasy food; tried to order a salad with protein but waitress informed me that they could not add protein (mahi mahi) to salad. Waitress had an attitude. There for a birthday dinner and she did everything in her power to make the experience as mundane as possible.
The Salt Line is a pretty average place. If you can score a table near the waterline, the views are great. Overall though, the place feels more like the typical pre-sports event, large bar posing as a restaurant eatery.
