Bidra med feedbackNice place to stop at and stretch your legs after driving along time.Close to Interstate 24 at Vienna. They have seating both indoors and outside. And you can never go wrong getting icecream .
The food was out quick, the cashier was super helpful and our food tasted good. It was an overall good experience. They seemed to be short staffed, but everyone was working hard. The main issues were that it wasn't very clean. The bathrooms smelled badand looked dirty and a lot of the tables were dirty.
During my most recent visit, I ordered chicken strips for the whole family, except for our youngest, who got a cheeseburger with just ketchup, and we requested extra gravy with the baskets. When we got home and opened our bags, we discovered that the burger only had pickles, instead of the requested toppings, and we received two milks instead of a milk and a sprite. The gravy, at first glance, looked like plain milk, and upon closer inspection, we found a thick layer of what was supposed to be gravy at the bottom of the container. I have attached pictures for reference. When I called to inform an employee about the issues, she mentioned that the gravy had been made in the microwave rather than using the proper method. I understand that equipment can break down, but it would have been nice to be informed about this while placing our order. I’m not someone who usually calls to complain at restaurants because I know people can have off days and make mistakes; however, this has become too frequent and the food has been subpar to the point where I wouldn’t even consider serving it to anyone. It seems like they need new management or better staff who can provide quality food. Perhaps they need to offer better pay to attract good employees. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has seriously declined. Up until a few months ago, I had never had any complaints about ordering from there.
I wasn't impressed with the onion rings and chicken tenders, which were overcooked. The fish sandwich came with wilted lettuce and had an unpleasant odor. The highlight of the meal was the Sprite, which was the best tasting item.
There aren't many dining options in the area on Sunday afternoons, so I’ll continue to visit this place. However, the incredibly slow service at this location, which is unexpected for a Dairy Queen, is quite disappointing. Be prepared to wait an extra 15-20 minutes for your order, even if it’s just a small one.
