Cast Iron Bistro - Calvert

Nice place in a CUTE town. Had the Bistro Burger it was AMAZING!! Big enough to share.Also had a cup of their soup of the day. A scrumptious potato and corn chowder. Would have ordered seconds, but since I didn't share my burger I had no room.Next time I come I'll need to save room for dessert. They look delicious!!

Had open goat salad. Delicious. Salmon, strawberry, candied pecan, vinaigrette. Very tasty

Great food and great service. One young lady was pulling double duty as cashier and waiting tables. She was awesome!

Cast Iron Bistro....I though I would see cornbread and chicken fried stake. Nope. What I found was an amazing little boutique resteraunt with some of the best food around. Great little atmosphere with good prices and plenty of bang for the buck!

It is a very hot place with no air conditioning . You pay a high price for a meal in a hot place to eat.Spinach that was sauted was terrible not sure what they used to saute Cole slaw was completely mushy, not fresh crispy. Very disappointed in the prices for the food that was not fresh. ESPECIALLY the salmon, $23!! It 's not even fresh salmon if it were on the coast then I can see the price.The poor waitress didn 't have any help whatsoever, not from the lady either. Sad situation.I 'd quit, who wants to work in a no air conditioning with 100 plus degrees outside.Need to insulate the ceiling and do something about your air conditioning.Not fair to customers or your help.
