La Table By La Villa - Calvi

Very nice discovery! This 5-star hotel located in the heart of Calvi offers a truly splendid panorama!! The rooms are big! We had also been upgraded to a MAGNIFICENT suite with a sea view! Thanks again ! The hotel is very well located with an incredible view! The exterior of the hotel, like the interior, is very well maintained. The staff is welcoming and smiling and listens to us! I was able to benefit from the gym before the gym opened. We ate at the hotel 's gourmet restaurant, we had a great time! A delight! Small downside... we wanted advice on a champagne, we were called by the sommelier except that instead of advising us he handed us the menu saying the rosé champagnes are on the right ! Damage... Another small downside, we found the breakfast buffet very minimal... for savory lovers like us, we were disappointed... not much! 1 kind of cold meats, 1 kind of cheese, thank you goodbye. Eggs ? Extra ! Never seen... For sweets there is something between cakes, cookies, tarts... the choice is there! Too bad there is no middle ground... Regardless, we had a pleasant stay. Excellent welcome by great professionals, all extremely attentive in a luxury establishment refined down to the smallest detail. It's perfect.

GOOD HOTEL WITH A NICE VIEW, ROOMS ARE JUST GOOD, NOTHING SPECIAL, YOU HAVE TO SHOWER IN THE BATH, WHICH IS A Pity. A BIG DISADVANTAGE IS THAT THE KITCHEN DOES NOT OFFER LACTOSE-FREE ALTERNATIVES. A GOOD CHEF/HOTEL SHOULD BE ABLE TO RESPOND IMMEDIATELY TO THIS, SO MY DINNER RESULTED IN A FIASCO, DRY FRIED MEAT WITH COOKED VEGETABLES NO FLAVOR AT ALL SO IT WENT BACK TO THE KITCHEN, LUCKNOW THE Fries WERE TASTY. THE SAME APPLIES FOR BREAKFAST NO LACTOSE FREE ALTERNATIVE EVEN ON REQUEST (ASK ONE DAY IN ADVANCE FOR A CROISSANT OR SOMETHING LIKE) NO LACTOSE FREE BUTTER WHILE YOU CAN BUY VARIOUS BRANDS OF VEGETABLE BUTTER EVERYWHERE. Very nice surprise at 10 minutes from Calvi Airport. An exceptional view of the sea, the mountains, the citadel of Calvi and the different spaces of the Villa outdoor swimming pools, ornamental basin, garden etc... We were able to charge our car on very fast Porsche terminals. All the staff is adorable from Yoann the valet to the guests of the reception, the bar, the restaurant, the spa and room staff. We will recommend this very beautiful establish. See you soon:
