Top Burger Drive In - Camas

First time to this nice little hamburger joint. Busy at the time we went but thought we have to try this place. Customer service was good. Time wait was good considering how busy. Prices seemed reasonable. When we got our hamburgers we were disappointed. Hamburgers were over cooked, tasteless and dry. And lack of condiments. And the tater tots taste like fish and old oil.

The staff was very friendly however it took over 30 minutes to get our food and it was absolutely disgusting. We threw most of it away. It was a small burger with an old dried up burger patty on both of them. The onion lettuce and tomato for the burger were old and gross as well. Chicken strips were very small cheap and dried out. Onion rings we're burnt badly and very greasy It's like they put them back in the oil to warm them up for us. It made me physically sick. I left a very generous tip...because it's pay when you order. Avoid this place.

Does this look like it's worth over $10 to you? Because it doesn't look like it to me, and it certainly doesn't taste like it.

Way more average than I expected after glowing recommendation from a coworker.

We had our first bad experience yesterday after many years of coming here. I guess the thunderstorm brought out some fear and anxiety in the young girl whom we were told was the manager. After having what sounded to us like a verbal panic attack, she decided to close the place down and kick us out before we could finish our food. We had just received it only moments prior to her appearance at our table At 5:30, the young fellow at the counter had told us we had until 7pm when the dining room would close which was absolutely fine with us. We were hungry after going on a hike and knew we'd be done eating in just a few minutes. I do not intend to ever return to Hilltop Burger and be treated like this by a child manager.The food is good but not worth the hassle.
