Bidra med feedbackOn my visit in Cambridge I was so excited to visit this cafe as they have so many vegan options on their menu and everything sounded so delicious. I was not disappointed! I had the Fluffy Pancakes and they are up there with some of the best vegan pancakes I’ve ever had! For £9 you got 3 very thick and large pancakes with yogurt, maple syrup, berries, almond flakes and pomegranate! It was such a huge portion and was so tasty. My mum has the porridge with added fruit and she loved it! It was a huge portion of porridge with maple syrup and fruit, chia seeds and pomegranate! The prices are so reasonable for the quality and portions of the food! They had lots of other vegan options such as avocado on toast, granola, toast and much more! I also had an orange juice which was freshly squeezed and so refreshing! The vibe of the cafe is so cool, it’s really spacious and big inside and staff are friendly too. When I return to Cambridge I will definitely be back here again and would 100% recommend to any vegan or non vegan for breakfast or lunch! If I could give this place 5 stars I would!
Came for breakfast on a weekday and to do some work with a friend for a few hours. As soon as we took out our laptops, the waiter came over and told us that we wouldn’t be able to stay more than an hour and a half (the place was almost empty at the time). I asked him if we could stay if I bought something else closer to lunch time and he said “yeah, ok. As long as you keep buying, you can stay”. Look, I get it, the owners have to make money, and I’m a customer, so it’s gotta be made from me, but it seems they’ll try to do it at any cost, even making their customers feel reduced to a cog in the capitalist machine. I really didn’t appreciate the way this was gone about, so personally I won’t be back. The food is alright, but the prices are exorbitant for what you get, unsurprisingly. Eat what's on the menu, but the vegan substitute. It's not just fruit and salad, it's imaginative and delicious vegan food.
We visited just after they reopened for table service outdoors. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic about what they do. The menu is clear and has plenty of choice for vegans and vegetarians.
This is a modern bicycle themed coffee place with friendly staff. They have vegan cake twice a week, and some other snack items may be vegan as well. Depending on how lucky you are there may, or may not, be something vegan to eat. We've had their cake (good), home made almond milk hot chocolate and matcha latte (very good) and have enjoyed the atmosphere, which sometimes will include live broadcasts from bicycle races. A good place to work for a couple of hours if only they had more vegan food we would drop in more often.
