The Fox - Cambridge

Fantastic day, for the banquet day. brilliant food trucks, music was great, all staff friendly and helpful. stalls were also good.

No carvery (as hoped for due to Covid restrictions, but had a lovely steak ale pie steak with sweet potato chips, tomato, mushroom peas. Lady serving (believe she was the Landlady) had a lovely manner sense of humour. Lots of boards on the walls tables with funny quotes jokey statements, which we enjoyed reading, too! It was very quiet, but appeared to be quite a nice place to eat and/or drink. Thought I had done pics of the meal quotes/funnies, but can't seem to access them Altogether, a good visit.

Great little pub and friendly hosts. Food was great once it finally arrived after a long wait. We could of understood if it was busy, but it was a quiet Sun afternoon and it looked like we were the only ones eating. Would go back again, maybe not to eat, but certainly for a drink.

The location is nice. The food was prepared well, but some dishes were ruined by poor quality of ingredients. The dessert was really poor, both in preparation and ingredients. The service was extremely slow (1:45 for a main and a dessert it's seriously too much). Igine was seriously improvable This a place has potential, and could be really better, if they will they care of details. I'm actually sorry for the single star, but honestly, this is the only rating possible for the today's experience.

Went here for a meal I ordered Cesar salad but it was inedible, croutons were soggy and I don't know what dressing was on it, but it was like no Cesar salad dressing I've had before. I told the waitress, and asked for a portion of fries. By the time I had got the fries my husband had finished his meal. Will not be going back here again.
