The food here is nothing special. I ordered a Tofu Stew with beef and seafood. Korean tofu stews are supposed to come out bubbling and boiling, so that when you crack in the raw egg that they provide you, the hot stew cooks the egg. This stew however, was not hot enough to cook the egg and had a thick layer of oil on the top. The rice was also mushy and seemed overcooked. The flavors were good but the textures and temperature was off.
The highlight of our experience was definitely the service, which was excellent. The lady who attended to us was incredibly sweet. Unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. The Galbi Tang was decent but nothing extraordinary, while the Soondubu was far too oily for our liking—we barely managed to finish it. Strangely, the rice had a mushy texture with some crispy bits. As for the Banchan, it reminded us of the seaweed salad, kimchi, and dried seaweed you typically find at Hmart.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered bibimbap, but when it arrived, most of the ingredients—rice, vegetables, and meat—were burnt around the edges. After I paid and started to leave, the host chased after me and shouted at me about the tip. I've dined at every other restaurant in the building and would recommend any of them over this one.
Food is decent but portion size is pathetic. Ordered spicy pork and it wasn’t enough to feed a single child. Each “piece” of meat was the size of popcorn. Worth it to order from Allston instead. The kimchi banchan (side dish) was *literally* a single piece of lettuce.
