El Jefe's Taqueria Harvard Square

I ordered 2 items through DoorDash, I received only one. Bag was sealed, driver didn’t steal my food. I just wanted to eat something with my girlfriend and this restaurant ruined it. I got refund just for the food, not for the delivery fees. That’s not acceptable. El Jefe refused to give my food even if I wanted to pick it up. They said I have to pay for it. All they care about is money, not customer satisfaction…

Breakfast burritos were amazing and so was the French toast meal Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the French toast.

Respectfully, please don’t cook Mexican food. Please. It’s terrible. It tastes terrible. The texture is terrible. Just don’t do it. Leave it to someone else.

El Jefes Taqueria, has some of the best quesadillas I have ever had, the place has a nice ambience with friendly staff. I highly recommend visiting

I visited this restaurant about a year ago and decided to try one of their vegan salads. When I asked if the bread that came with the salad was also vegan, the response I received was uncertain, suggesting that it might not be gluten-free. Unfortunately, I later found that my salad contained accidental feta cheese crumbles from a reused bowl they used to toss the salad. This experience has left me disappointed and I have made the decision to not dine at this chain again.
