Trattoria Do Spadin - CAMOGLI

Mediocre food at high prices. A real tourist trap. Also the restaurant is mostly in the shade in a very windy location. Perfect in the summer heat but not in the spring. We were very cold at end of the April eventhough it was nice and sunny weather.

We recently had lunch at Dö Spadin. The setting is just amazing. Tranquil and blue. Right by the water, just 100m from the Punta Chiappa boat/ferry dock. Service was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and creatively presented. Portions are small and prices are high but the experience is well worth it. This restaurant is only accessible by hiking trail or by boat. We hiked there from San Rocco and took the boat back to Camogli. After a 45 mins hike from San Rocco in the summer sun, we arrived a bit clammy and tired. Thankfully there's a public beach just 50 m away and we had brought our swimsuits. It was delightful to freshen up with a refreshing swim and then head to the restaurant for lunch.

Location top, but the service is quite weak for the money you spend. Once the bottle of wine was opened was left on the table without asking to taste, and Unfortunately the glacette was forgotten twice (because we order two bottles of wine), while other tables had glacette on the table. Overall was an amazing night, and the service is pleasant, but can be definitely improved by taking care of some more details.

Ottimo ristorante mare sul bellissimo sentiero che porta alla punta chiappa. piatti d'oca con il vero gusto del mare. Bella vista!
