Bidra med feedbackThis is a cozy place in a strip mall, not so busy but probably only because it was too early on a Sunday morning when I visited. It would have been more perfect if they did even just a simple artwork on my mocha. However, I’d be happy to drop by here each time I need a fix before going to work. I’m glad to have found this shop. They serve the only coffee that I actually enjoy drinking without any added sugar.
This is my go-to coffee shop for latte specials and beans. My favorite latte is the Mocha-Borgia (chocolate and orange). I treat myself to this once a week or so. I also make espresso drinks at home and get my beans here. Beans are great quality and they label the bags with the roasted date, which is important for me and something most outlets don’t do. Service is always good and they have a good selection of fresh pasties. Parking is available outside and inside the building.
Barefoot was one of my first regular independent coffee shops and is still one that I visit very frequently. It is impressive how many baristas I have known from this location that are now independent baristas in other newer shops. This place has really had a huge impact on the San Jose coffee scene! They make their own orange essence which is great in their Mocha Borgia and their Latte Valencia. The peach Kuign Aman is very good and they make among the best toasts around. Highly recommended!
Cappuccino tastes great! The cafe is a bit small and feels cramped for sitting. They also take latte art classes which are quite fun and baristas teach well too
They started cleaning early before closing even though there are customers placing order. It was day after new year and I wanted to tryout new coffee brand so my wife and I drove 30min down to the coffeeshop. Coffee was ok. There was no music, not a good mood and ordering coffee out of dust was not a good experience. I will try visit a bit early next time and see the differences.
