The Great Cape Deli

Our waiter and food was amazing. Chef let me smell his spices before I bought them and gave me tips on using them. The staffs knowledge about the products they sell is refreshing. The wine selection is unbelievable and I got to taste a wine before purchasing. This made me bolder in my choices as I do tend to be rather boring and stick to the ones I know and love.

Was invited for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent service by Owald…I'm so sorry I may have gotten his name wrong! But the best part was the extensive deli and brilliant wine range. The chef came out to advise my friend on various items in the deli and wine selection. I am certainly going to visit this gem again very soon. I can't recommend The Great Cape Deli highly enough. Well done to all the team who work there.

Love this place, good food and product for sale. Especially if you are looking for some exotic or international ingredient for that online recipe you can't find anywhere else. If you need advice ask to speak to the chef Alvin, he is very helpful.
