This place is a really good dive. The outdoor terrace is beautiful and the tiny little kitchen brings something really delicious food. Burgers and wings are great.

Stopped off here for a low key lunch with a few friends on a Saturday in the early afternoon. I had the BBQ burger and some fries and it was good! They have outdoor seating on a two-tier deck along the canal which is nice. Everyone was friendly and the prices were very reasonable.

I have been here and eaten many burgers and other apps. All good. Today I tried the Lenten fish special. It’s only offered during lent but I wish they would make it a permanent Friday thing. You can get 2 or 3 pieces of fried cod. I opted for the 2 piece. Comes with fresh cut fries, the typical small container of cole slaw, and 3 hush puppies. This was 12$. The fish was seasoned well and lightly fried to perfection. Their fries are always outstanding and today was no exception. The slaw was just the right amount of creaminess and the veggies were crisp. It’s a little on the bitter side but it was a nice change from other places that are way too sweet or way too heavy on the vinegar. The hush puppies were also perfect. It also came with their in house made tartar sauce. It was very good. I was detecting dill and capers. Not expected in a place like this. At first glance the place underwhelms for sure. But try the food. You will be pleasantly surprised. And the staff is always friendly and accommodating. It will also be easy on your wallet. They give generous portions and generous pours.

Our favorite local spot to hang out at, especially after paddling on the river. Try their wings with a bucket of beer! Cheers #pintsforksfriends

Great food and great atmosphere!! Loved the music choice tonight. Quick service for a busy Sunday evening, their kitchen is small but the cook was great and got everyone’s food out timely. Less than $25 for two entrees, two sides a beer. Will definitely be back
