Bicicletta - Canberra

Unfortunate service encouraged this low rating. the food was fresh and light. but after many try to swing a waiter, we left after the net. it will take a long time to go back. good food that was ruined by bad service.

We are from Western Australia, visit canberra we at bicicletta when we had a great meal there 2 years ago when we were in canberra. this culinary experience was not disappointed. the service was great, fast, courtesy and efficient. the meals were amazing, not only...a reasonable size served, but extremely tasty, a real joy. an unforgettable culinary experience, we will return.

We loved bicicletta at visit before covid. but something has changed. the atmosphere still beautiful, but the menu wasn't quite as exciting, and while eating was reasonably good, it wasn't exeptional as it was earlier. service a bit of our net. were brought out before our escapes were served so that the netzen were placed under heat lamps to keep warm (which unfortunately also stained them a little. the staff seemed to forget about the net, no one offers dessert from coffee, we had to get up and ask some. there was even a suggestion that we might not have a coffee because the machine was turned off. thank you for being turned around.

The menu looked great so we were looking forward to eating here. First of all the place. Designed (successfully) for maximum noise (all that horrid subway tile and hard floor) and with all the large tables around the walls and all the tables for two...in the middle of the room so wrong! Horrible loud thumping music, totally unsuitable for relaxing restaurant dining I realise its hard to get staff these days but if you're going to hire children then please, for their sake as well as ours, please give them some training so they can actually pronounce the names of the dishes they're serving and can remember the one special on the menu! The wine list is very limited The food: the starter was fine, but the spicy crab linguini had no spice, and the orrecchiette with broccoli and pork and fennel sausage seemed to have cream (not mentioned) but no broccoli. It was under seasoned; when i asked for salt and pepper both were empty. We didn't stay for dessert couldn't stand the noise any longer We really wanted to like this place it could be so much better than it is

This is my new favourite Italian Restaurant in Canberra. The food, service and staff were excellent. Had a wonderful night.
