Binny's Kathitto - Canberra

There were a few times there and we were impressed by the food we ordered for a small party of 25 South Indians. all guests were satisfied with eating. once again try some of the courts we have not tried.

Interesting menu, have been a few times. Loved the mild mutton stew as well as the chicken curry with appam. Great service, I noted that my sweet lassi was more sour than sweet and they insisted on having a fresh one made. The dosas don't have semolina so great for people looking for gluten free options. The layered parothas are so soft and buttery. Some of the curries are fairly spicy so if you have a low tolerance good idea to check.

We went here with another couple who really like going here. We started with the paneer kathito without eggs. I am not sure if that changed the taste but I found the kathito quite bland. It was a paneer mix in a roti. I went for the appams with korma, ideally would have loved to try with mutton stew. The appams which the centre is has an idli consistency and the edges are like a dosa. I loved it, the korma with it went really well. We also had some lemon rice. We also had the palak chat which was nice. Interesting mix of the menu would go back to try other stuff.

Absolutely delicious wraps! The rest of the the food is good, but not amazing. The wraps are on another level though. Good service. Some outdoor seating.
