Chatime at ANU - Canberra

I normally buy my bubble tea at ShareTea in the Canberra Centre, however they haven't opened at ANU yet so I thought I'd give Chatime a go again (haven't tried it in a few years). Overall I was pretty disappointed. The service at the shop...was friendly and quick, however the product is very average. Whatever milk powder they use doesn't get mixed in well and you are left with a white residue in the cup (see my photo) They put a very small scoop of jelly into a large cup, and to top off this negative point, they are more expensive than ShareTea! No honey option, only sugar water. Again, compared to ShareTea, who let you include honey as a sweetener instead of sugar water, this was a negative for me. For me all these little things added up to be a very average experience (and taste). Looks like I'll be waiting for ShareTea to open before going for bubble tea again

Not much to say really, it's cha time! Delicious, quick and full of jelly bubble tea goodness. Love it!

They use real tea instead of powder in their products, and the difference is noticeable! In my opinion, it's the best bubble tea shop in Canberra!

As someone who adores bubble tea, I always choose to get mine from Chatime. Their pearls are superior to others in both texture and flavor. While the lines can be long during peak hours, it is definitely worth the wait for their delicious pearl milk tea.

I have been searching for a great bubble tea shop for a while and I am happy to say that I have finally found it! Chatime at the Australian National University is fantastic. They offer a wide variety of teas with a simple menu, friendly staff, and, most importantly, delicious bubble tea. I especially enjoy their premium pearl milk tea matcha.
