Bidra med feedbackMy partner and I needed a quick dinner one night, we both felt like pasta and noticed this place had opened up where La Rustica used to be so we gave it a go. It was Saturday night around 7.30pm and there was only...3 other tables with people at them. Probably should have taken that as a sign. We ordered some bread to start with. It came out with nothing no oils etc and the bread was probably 1 day past it's best before, it was quite dry. I ordered a spaghetti meatball dish and my partner ordered the gnocchi. Meals came out, my spaghetti only had 4 meatballs but they were quite large in size. I cut into one to find that it was completely frozen on the inside. Tried the other three, all frozen. When we alerted a staff member politely, he groaned and rolled his eyes. I'm sure he was expressing disappointment at his chef but not very nice to do it in front of customers it made us feel guilty when we shouldn't have. They did apologise and brought out a new meal for me I'm pretty sure it was the same one that they just microwaved. It was okay. The meatballs were decent (once they were hot! but the spaghetti was a bit like tinned spaghetti. My partner's gnocchi however, was very good. We paid full price for the meals and no additional apology was given. Service was a bit rude. Won't be going back.
I took gnocchi and salate out. service was fast and accommodating. eating was hot and well done. I enjoy it thoroughly, but would have preferred more soned and less gnocchi personal preference. the dining room, when you collected the extract, was so conscious.
Our waitress was ostella, which owned the restaurant that gave them great service and chatted us after our meal. we had brushetta first nice portions and my nabeby had lambs and maischekartoffeln, which he was sais, were the best asses he had vater. a long while I had grilled lamb cuts with delicious bores, as I like it was byo for wein, but beer served on tap I would give him a 4 out of 5
Dined on 11. april 2015. our experience was not a willing back. we have not been shown to the sparse. calamari entree was extremely hard. not offered gloomy and had to ask for coffee. three garnels for the escape at $18.00 seems a bit expensive....Lamb cuts also hard, although they were often baked. with such a competitive market, especially in the kingston area, they will fight if they don't lift their game.
I got my mrs out to eat. never write reviews, but I think if they are an aunthenic, real Italian cuisine; they have to give this place one away. will come back definitiw. correct Italian cuisine, romantic and not too loud. perfect night for my perfect mrs. so thanks for the staff in la osteri. they will be our restaurant for Italian cuisine:
