Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is exceptional and one of the few open on Sundays. I highly recommend the oysters. Other recommended dishes include the 550g grass-fed ribeye and the Ugly Butter.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and their wine list is reasonably priced. The atmosphere was really enjoyable. We visited for lunch, but we’re definitely planning to return for breakfast as well! Everyone we spoke to in Canberra raved about this place, and now we understand why.
The venue is really comfortable and inviting. While the menu might seem a bit limited and focuses mainly on small plates, everything available is delicious and well-prepared. I highly recommend trying the duck. Overall, I would rate the food 5/5, service 5/5, and atmosphere 5/5. Highly recommended!
Maybe we caught Rebel Rebel on a bad night, but we left feeling very disappointed.We got the chefs selection and it was all a bit meh. All the dishes were very heavy and the flavours didn’t go very well together. The standout was the prawn and I would definitely recommend that, but the rest wasn’t worth the price.Our service was also a bit lacklustre. The first course arrived before our drinks and none of the staff told us what each dish was and even when we asked it was the answer was unclear. For me, I choose the chef’s selection degustation option at restaurants for the experience. I want to eat the best food a place has to offer and I want to feel excited about it. Rebel Rebel didn’t give us that and certainly wasn’t worth $200+ for two people.
A great intimate spot for good food wine. Staff were super lovely.
