California Pizza Kitchen At Topanga

From someone who said he wouldn't visit this place, I'm humble. The food was amazing. Great salad, great pizza, but the Mocksville doesn't have to be so sweet. Mix the desert pear with the passion mango tea and you can thank me later.

We used to come to CPK anytime we at the mall, which was very often. The food and the service was fantastic. The pandemic made us to take a brake, but we are back and the food was as good as before. The barbecue chicken salad and oriental pizza was fresh and very tasty, even more than before, the Sicilian is as good.. I like the chicken wrappings and normally getting it as an appetizer, instead of the regular salad. The service could improve a little, took al little longer than normal to get our plates. But its OK, we were getting stuffed with the white bread and olive oil.

After flying out here from Asia after over 2 years of pandemic to discover our 1st meal at California Pizza Kitchen that the food was so dissapointmented. We ordered Chicken Tequila Fettuccine from the picture of the menu. Here is what it looks like. No where near it. The waitress was nice enough to ask if we want to change but we said we will try anyways. Conclusion was a huge dissapointmen.

I don?t normally complain especially having worked in the industry for years. The food was great. It was hot. The problem is I have no server. The pizza cook got the attention of one of the managers, I think, who came and took my order and delivered bread. He also got my one drink. Someone else delivered my food. Never checked to see if I needed anything else. No one ever asked if I would like another cocktail. Now I am sitting here writing this review after my plates have been cleared for a check. Seems I am going to have to ask someone to get it. This is bad management. Thank you pizza cooks for at least seeing I was looking for lunch and grab someone?s attention.

Took forever to order and get our food (soup). The soup was basically mashed potato, really gross. I mean I know potato soup is think but when I have to chew it, yikes! The pizza was barely warm and we used our own silverware we begged for to cut it. Good joke CPK, you?re doing well!
