Paradise Biryani Pointe - Canoga Park

I used to frequent this restaurant regularly, but the last time I visited, it was under new ownership. When I ordered my usual dish, I could immediately tell that something was different. The tandoori chicken was drier than usual and lacked freshness. While it wasn't terrible, it wasn't up to the usual quality standards I was used to, and the dryness didn't help. However, the staff were still very friendly, as always. I will say that at these prices, rice or Naan should be included. It has become more financially practical to dine elsewhere, as the prices are too high to justify continued patronage. Times are tough, and it's no longer feasible to eat there. Thank you for the memories.

This restaurant serves the best South Indian food in the region. My personal favorites are Chicken lollypop, Goat biryani, and Goat pepper fry. I highly recommend trying them.

I decided to have lunch at this restaurant because I was craving butter chicken. I was disappointed to find out that they didn't have any lunch specials, but I still went ahead and ordered the butter chicken for just under $16. I was surprised to learn that it didn't come with Naan or rice, so I requested plain white rice and a glass of water. The water was served at room temperature, which I didn't like. When the food arrived, I noticed that the portion size of the butter chicken seemed small for the price. I tried it and found it to be just okay, nothing special. I actually liked the plain white rice more. While the meal was fine, I didn't think it was worth the cost, especially when I saw that the plain white rice was an additional $3.50. After receiving the bill, I decided that I probably wouldn't be returning to this restaurant.

These people don't know how to make good curry. I also tried appetizer which was salty. In the past, they had some service issues which seems OK now but now food has completely lost the taste and quality.

The best place to visit if you want to eat authentic Indian biryani. They have the perfectly cooked biryani with the right amount of vegetables and spices, which will satisfy your palate and, at the same time, make you crave for more. They even serve really good Indian food overall. The restaurant manager is very polite and always welcoming. The service is overall very good and quick. Once you visit here, I'm sure you will keep coming back. Highly recommended!
