Umai Savory Hot Dogs - Canoga Park

Delicious! I ordered the Kyoto dog with fries, and it was fantastic. The hot dog was juicy and flavorful, and the bread was great as well (though it wasn't spicy). The fries were crispy and tasty, and my 8-year-old enjoyed them too. The restaurant is conveniently located inside the mall, and the prices are reasonable for the portion sizes.

This was my third visit to this restaurant. I've tried a few items from the menu before, and my favorites are the Honolulu Bang Bang and Umai house fries. Yesterday, I decided to branch out a bit and ordered the Umai Corn Dog, Musubi Sliders, and a Banana Dog. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. If you get the corn dog, I recommend ordering two because they are so delicious—you’ll definitely want more! The sliders were sweet and savory, achieving just the right balance. The Honolulu dish had amazing flavor, as always. Finally, the Banana Dog was heavenly! It tasted like banana-flavored cheesecake in a soft bun, topped with whipped cream and chocolate (you can choose the flavor). I highly recommend this often-overlooked gem. It's located near the Target area, across from Kid's Foot Locker and next to Auntie Annie’s (skip the pretzels; you’ll find much better food here for nearly the same price)!

The food was decent, but the service was extremely slow. I waited 30 minutes for two hot dogs, and they weren't even busy.

Fries were soggy and oily but good flavor. Tokyo dog was okay

It's okay with interesting concepts for Asian American fusion but I've only ordered fries from them. service is not the best or fastest either but it's not bad for a snack.
