Texas Rose Steakhouse - Canyon

I visited with a large group of over 30 people and made a reservation for a later time. They had a spacious room prepared just for us, and the waitstaff was excellent. The food was delicious, and while there were a few mix-ups, they were addressed promptly. This is definitely a great spot to take visitors for a tasty meal.

I'm so happy we discovered this hidden gem! We began with some tasty rolls. My steak was fantastic, and he really enjoyed his chili chicken fried steak! As she was clearing the table, she asked if we wanted complimentary cinnamon rolls to take home. Yes, please! I really hope we can visit again soon!

We started with the jalapeño coins, which I loved for their spiciness. They pack quite a kick, and there are plenty, so we decided to take two-thirds of them home. For my main course, I ordered the seafood sampler, which included a grilled shrimp skewer wrapped in bacon over rice, five coconut shrimp, and some fried catfish. It came with two sides, and I ended up taking half of it with me. Everything was delicious! My husband tried the jalapeño chicken fried steak and couldn't stop raving about it. I really don't understand why some people left negative reviews about the rolls not being ready. They are absolutely delightful, served hot, and should be considered a treat when you receive them! You can enjoy a meal here for around $20. We had an appetizer and some reasonably priced wine, which brought our total up a bit, but it was worth every penny. I saved my cinnamon roll for later, and I'm sure it’s fantastic too. I highly recommend this place—there are great TVs for sports in the bar area!

This restaurant was one of the best steakhouses we have been too. Right next door to the Best western, we walked over and were greeted by the ,manager, Berkley and JoHanna was our waitress. We had drinks and wine, ordered the filet, steamed broccoli and fries. It was all delicious and cooked perfectly. Both Berkley and JoHanna were attentive but not overly and welcomed us and treated us as family, and the homemade roles and cinnamon roles were fabulous as well. We are so glad we went and highly recommend.
