The standout for me is the ice-cold Thai coffee; it's the best I've tasted during my travels, including my six-week trip to Thailand in 2003. It's sweeter than the typical version, with plenty of condensed milk. I order it every time I visit. I also really enjoy the Ginger Chicken (Court #31). It consists of crispy BBQ chicken served with rice in a clear ginger sauce, and the portions are generous for the price. Sometimes, I take the food home for dinner, and my wife loves her Seafood Pad Kee Mao. The restaurant is family-owned—it's run by a couple and their daughter, though I haven't confirmed that. They are very friendly, though they speak softly. I try to go at least once a week and have yet to have a negative experience.
Wow! I’m not exactly sure how to put it into words, but the roasted rice has an unexpectedly grilled flavor. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but the combination of the rice and the meat gives it a unique quality that makes it incredibly delicious. Overall, I think the food is excellent considering the price — the portion sizes and quality are quite impressive!
I love the Baker... It is their version of Bankers Special ONLY BETTER! the atmosphere is very relaxing and you get classic rock playing on the radio to hear... What could be better?
Friendly service wait staff great w/ helping pick out something tasty to try. Good portion sizes for the price. I had the Gai Tod Kra Tiem and it was great. Restaurant was clean. Lots of choices on menu they said anything spicy could be made mild and anything mild could be made spicy. YUM!
