Villanova’s Pizza - Canyon Lake

By far the best pizza and wings at the lake. And the people there are cool! Very recommended!

After checking out the reviews for pizza in the area, I decided to make the 25-minute trip to this place. We were at Cranes Mill Park, on the opposite side of the lake. Being originally from Chicago, I’m quite particular about my pizza and couldn't fathom settling for anything less than great. This place was a delightful surprise and did not disappoint! The pizza was delicious, loaded with toppings, and had a beautiful crust. We tried both the house pizza and the Mexican pizza, and they were both incredible! It was definitely worth the drive!

Much better than Wicked Good! The pizza here is delicious, served quickly, and the service is excellent. What stands out the most is the consistency; I've included photos from three different days of the same order, and you can't tell a difference. Many places struggle with this concept. Highly recommended!

It's great to see Villanova's pizza back in business! I tried their Supreme pizza on Saturday night (12/17), and it was packed with toppings. Their food is consistently good and reasonably priced—my large pizza came to $21.22 with tax. However, as of May 10, 2022, it seems Villanova is having some issues with her landlord. If I want her pizza again, I'll have to visit her original location in New Braunfels, which isn't very convenient. What a disappointment!
